We make a conscious effort to assemble a group of participants who have common business interests, with a goal to foster creative relationships through which everyone can advance individual business goals and the hemp industries overall.
A dynamic CBD market
The most lucrative derivative of the hemp plant, CBD, has proven effective in a variety of illnesses and maladies. Its acceptance around the world is growing as studies prove its benefits to those suffering chronic pain and seizures along with a wide range of other afflictions. Major research and development projects are under way worldwide while sales of CBD continue double-digit growth year-on-year.
Development top to bottom
The CBD sector is developing at all levels, among small entrepreneurs; and among legacy players all the way up to public markets around the world. HempToday envisions a wave of mergers throughout 2018 while small, creative companies continue to bubble up from the startup scene. CBD and other hemp-based health products also have the potential to transform agriculture in many parts of the world — both at the local level and across vast commercial farms in North America, China, India and South America.
Aims of the Summit
- To share knowledge and experiences
- To foster business matchmaking among participants
- To generate a body of content for broader distribution around the world
- To jointly explore hemp’s potential as an engine for sustainable economic development
