An Indiana-based company said it will open a facility to produce a range of CBD products this autumn. Jeffersonville-based HempRise said the factory, with a price tag of $80 million, will turn out broad-spectrum CBD, CBD isolate and water-soluble CBD. The company hopes to source sourcing raw material from Indiana, Tennessee and Kentucky. HempRise said the facility will be able to process 8-10 million pounds of biomass per year, with the potential to double production depending on demand. Once operational, the factory will employ 50, the company said.
