Regulations, breeding, farming, research and marketing of hemp will be explored during an online forum Feb. 10-11 hosted by the Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA). State and federal officials will also talk about financial and technical assistance for those interested in growing or processing hemp. This is the first year Minnesota is operating under a new, federally approved commercial state hemp plan. Registration for the virtual event is free. Sessions will run from noon to 4 p.m. (CST) each day.
