A subsidiary of provincial funding agency Alberta Innovates, UniSeeds said Silesia “is ideal for Canadian growing conditions and offers the agriculture sector exceptional fiber production and seed-quantity compared to other cultivars.” Silesia is approved by Health Canada. The distribution agreement begins commercialization of the variety.
