As a major agricultural nation and leader in international farm exports, Ukraine has impressive potential as a hemp producing nation. Even as Russia’s war on its neighbor continues, Ukrainian growers are putting hemp crops in the ground, as farmers do every year. This initiative aims to support Ukraine’s farmers, producers, researchers and entrepreneurs, with specific initiatives to address war-related immediate challenges, specifically housing needs. More importantly, it has a goal to advance industrial hemp in a key European market for the longer term by supporting the development of private-sector initiatives, infrastructure and trade.
