The Morshyn project
Our focus at the moment is on the completion of a 30-unit apartment complex now going up near Morshyn, a small city in the western part of the country. The project will provide sustainable hemp housing for displaced families, war veterans and orphans. The complex is the first of a three-phase project that incorporates the restoration of a former dairy building and new construction. The buildings are framed with wood and insulated using hempcrete, made from hurd sourced from Ukrainian farms and mixed with a locally developed binder.
Future phases envision additional housing units and a rehabilitation center for war veterans, forming a comprehensive development that aims to provide both shelter and a path toward recovery for those affected by the war.
