Hemp Foods Australia CEO Paul Benhaim will share insights into the global hemp food market, product development and entrepreneurship as a featured speaker at HempToday Center in late May.
Registration for “Hemp Food, Health & Beauty,” opens today. The event, set for May 25-26, is the second in HempToday’s Hemp2020 cycle of mini-summits at the Poland-based center this year.
Benhaim is one of the world’s leading experts in hemp foods, and led efforts to open the Australian market for hempseed-based food for humans — which happened last spring.
Hemp Foods Australia (HFA) is the southern hemisphere’s biggest hemp food player, and has expanded into four facilities in five years; the company deals in hemp seeds, oil and protein. HFA has a processing facility at Bangalow in northern New South Wales serving soaring demand for hemp foods on the Australian domestic market.
Benhaim is also CEO at Colorado, USA-based CBD-maker Elixinol, which made its debut on the Australian Securities Exchange in January 2018, and has operations on four continents.
