Researchers will sow 140 hemp plants in the Ecuadorian provinces of Imbabura and Pichincha as part of the first trials carried out in the country by the National Institute of Agricultural Research. Results are expected in summer 2021. Ecuador released regulations last month for such things as seed production, farming, processing, marketing, export and other links in the hemp production chain.
