Chinese conglomerate Chengzhi Co. Ltd. said its subsidiary Chengzhi Hanmeng has obtained a license to plant hemp in Yunnan Province. The company said the license will help to strengthen Chengzhi Hanmeng’s industrial hemp extraction and research operations and give it a direct source of raw materials in the future. Chengzhi makes and sells household chemical products, biotechnology products, pharmaceuticals and information technology. The Company’s products include detergents, toothpastes, D-ribose, L-glutamine, Chinese traditional medicines, computer memory devices, and other related products. Chengzhi Co.’s share price rose on the announcement yesterday.
