HempToday has launched “HT Connect,” a global directory of hemp enterprises around the world, with listings from 24 countries in 22 industry sub-sectors. All entries are qualified by basic background research to ensure the veracity of the firms and their activities, said Kehrt Reyher, HempToday Publisher.
“This is a basic tool that can really help the industry, by referencing great companies and giving the market a bit more clarity,” Reyher said. “The information clutter in the hemp industry is a serious barrier – which our products like HT Connect are intended to address.”
HempToday, which operates under the Poland-based Naklo Foundation, earlier this year launched HempTrade, a wholesale and bulk goods platform aimed at connecting buyers and sellers. The company continues to develop products aimed at setting a basic information framework for the hemp value chain worldwide, Reyher said.
The directory is through HT’s Membership program, which gives subscribers access to all records in the service as well as a listing for their companies, if they qualify. HT Memberships, which start at €120.00/year, also give users access to password-protected premium content, free downloads of HT printed editions and other benefits.
