New Mexico-based hemp company Santa Fe Farms named Kim Kovacs Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Steven Gluckstern, who assumes the position of Executive Chairman, the company said in a press release. Rick Schawelson was appointed President and Chief Operating Officer. Santa Fe has set a goal to have one million acres of farm fields under industrial hemp by 2027 and said it expects to reach more than 15% of that goal in 2022. Santa Fe is pursuing opportunities in cultivation and post cultivation services, processing and manufacturing, consulting, wholesale, white-label and retail sales.
