Agents of the Alicante, Spain Civil Guard arrested five persons they say set up a fictitious legal hemp fiber trading company to hide a marijuana operation. The suspects told police the cannabis material in a warehouse was industrial hemp, but later analysis showed the buds had high concentrations of THC. Agents seized 500 kilograms of buds. Locals had tipped off the police after they smelled cannabis in the vicinity of the company’s operations.
