The Thai Food and Drug Administration will offer a training seminar in hemp production, import, export and distribution at Maejo University in Mae Cho on Feb. 8-9. The session will explore how to successfully apply for permission to produce hemp-based products for commercial purposes, and will include a demonstration on organic hemp farming. Already signed up to attend are five companies: Supreme Pharmatech, Hemplab (Thailand), DOD Biotech, EA Stern Spectrum Group and Global Consumer, as well as some farmers.
