The Department of Agriculture in the U.S. state of Colorado has added six new industrial hemp varieties to the list of 17 previously approved, bringing the total number of approved cultivars in the state to 23. Four of the varieties are from New West Genetics; the other two were developed by Sunrise Genetics and Bill Althouse of Fat Pig Society. The six new seeds were trialled this year.
