The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) approved the state of Rhode Island’s hemp plan. The state set two-year licensing fees at $2,750, which includes a $250 licensing fee. USDA also approved the plan of southern California’s Soboda Band of Luiseno Indians. The tribe set application fees at $5,000 and annual renewal fees at $2,500.
