EIHA joins HempToday in partnership on hemp micro-summits

The European Industrial Hemp Association has joined HempToday (HT) and Hempoint as a supporting partner in HT’s series of in-depth micro-summits covering the hemp industry.

By supporting the summit series at HempToday Center in Poland, EIHA extends its professional education beyond the Association’s annual June conference and other initiatives, said Lorenza Romanese, EIHA Managing Director.

Under terms of HempToday’s partnership with EIHA, Association members will receive discounts on HT summit accreditations, and other perks. EIHA members invited to be speakers at the micro-summits are hosted by HempToday.

Expanding programming

“We hope to draw on EIHA members for their expertise as we constantly adapt and expand our programming,” said Kehrt Reyher, HempToday CEO & Publisher. “At the same time, those members can benefit from the experiences of the diverse stakeholders who attend our events from all over the world.” Speakers and delegates from more than 60 countries have attended HempToday’s summits since the series started in 2016.

HempToday’s micro-summits are intense two-day affairs limited to 30 persons total attendance. The series, started in partnership with Czech-based hemp firm Hempoint, features four events per year that are topical in nature, tracking fast-moving developments in the global hemp industries.

Summits upcoming

Summits remaining in this year’s series at HempToday Center are Hemp Machines & Technology, May 24-25; CBD: The Future of Medical Hemp, Aug. 23-24; and Investment & Entrepreneurship, Oct. 25-26. Deep Green Building: Hemp-Lime Construction, a series of lectures and hands-on experience with hempcrete, is held at HempToday Center each February.

HempToday has served as a media sponsor and produced a magazine for EIHA’s annual conference since 2016. That event, the world’s most diverse gathering of industrial hemp stakeholders now in its 16th year, is set for June 5-6 in Cologne, Germany.
