Farm equipment maker Kierton USA, Ferndale, Washington, filed suit against U.S. Customs and Border Protection for blocking a shipment of components into the USA last month. Kierton was to receive the shipment from its parent company based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Keirton is seeking the return of its equipment, which it says are parts for vacuums and trimmers, plus a court order requiring customs to allow future shipments. Keirton USA received a settlement in a similar case it filed against the customs protection agency last year.
