German builders are using 100,000 cubic meters of hemp insulation material annually, according to the government, with all renewable raw materials growing at 3.1% per year in the construction industry. The growth is significantly faster than the overall market for insulation materials. The government said all renewables account for 7% of the total insulation market in Germany.
