U.S. commodities trading platform PanXchange said it will begin to track prices for hemp grain and stalk for the USA market, noting it expects the feed and food seed markets to evolve into traditional cash crops for U.S. farmers, much like corn, wheat, and soy. Very little grain is grown in the USA, primarily in the northern states of Washington, Montana and North Dakota. Hemp is grown for its stalks only in a few isolated spots around the country.
