Wide range of hemp startups seeking investors, other partners

Delegates representing a wide range of industrial hemp-related investment opportunities will gather Oct. 25-26 at HempToday Center in Poland for two days of strategizing and networking at the Entrepreneurship & Investing Summit .

Entrepreneurs seeking financial and other partnerships will be on hand for the Summit to present projects including: farming and processing, food, IT solutions to support green industry, data driven targeting & loyalty programs, digital applications to support commodity trading & the hemp supply chain, and education & training.

Participants representing a total of 13 countries are registered for the Summit: Australia, Canada, Czech Republic, Germany, Holland, Italy, Pakistan, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sri Lanka, Togo, USA.

Food, soap, decorticators

Hemp product categories and sectors represented among participants include vegan milk derived from hemp seeds, paper, soaps & shampoos, hospitality industry supplies, hemp construction and CBD. Projects in small-scale harvesting equipment will also be introduced as will opportunities in decortication technology both small and industrial scale.

Entrepreneur delegates will hear from business mentors Jacek Kramarz, Director of Business Development at CBD maker HemPoland; Hana Gabrielova, Hempoint, Czech Republic; Muhammed A Qayyum, Co founder & CEO at Fytocina SL, Spain; Emir Polat, HempBouquet, Canada & Turkey; and Kehrt Reyher, CEO, Editor & Publisher, HempToday.

Topics for the summit include: How to turn your idea into a business; bootstrapping & bartering your way to success; preparing for investment; developing a strategic plan; organizing for growth; social responsibility; evaluating investors; marketing & communications; writing the business plan; and financial planning.

Networking & matchmaking

The Summit is one in a series of annual hemp-focused micro-conferences jointly organized by HempToday, the European Industrial Hemp Association, Czech-based Hempoint, marketplace HempTrade and the matchmaking platform Enterprise Hemp.

The two-day Summit aims to help startup and early stage hemp companies of all sizes advance their enterprises through networking, matchmaking, intelligence gathering and transfer of knowhow. All participants have the opportunity to present their ideas and enterprises during the Summit to get direct feedback from the mentors and fellow entrepreneurs on hand.
