CBD edibles may not contain the amount of CBD listed on the label, a recent report by Israel-based product reviewer Leafreport found. The company analyzed 40 CBD edible products from various brands at Canalysis Laboratories in Las Vegas, revealing 65% of the products contained more CBD than stated on the label. Only 11 of the tested products had CBD levels within 10% of the amount indicated, according to Leafreport; 10 products contained between 10-20% of the CBD advertised; and 12 products strayed as far as 20-30% from the amount advertised. Most of the brands that received the best ratings were from relatively small or new companies, according to the report.
