American entrepreneur Kehrt Reyher is a leading international figure in the industrial hemp sector and founder of HempToday, the world’s leading source for business news, analysis, interviews and special reports on industrial hemp. Since establishing HempToday in 2015, he has helped build one of the industry’s broadest global networks of business leaders, investors, researchers and policymakers. Kehrt works with a number of hemp startups, advising on product development, management, partnerships, and strategy.
Reyher was among the first wave of Western entrepreneurs to establish businesses in Poland following the country’s economic reforms of the early 1990s. He has lived in Poland since 1992, where he founded VFP Communications in Warsaw. Under his leadership, the company became one of Central Europe’s leading B2B publishing houses, serving business sectors across Poland and the region. Reyher led the company from its startup through its successful sale in 2008.
A former business journalist and publisher, Kehrt is a past European Bureau Chief at Smart Grid Today, and previously worked on the business desks of the Providence (RI) Journal, The Detroit News and USA Today.
