The European Commission has validated a novel food application for isolated trans-cannabidiol from Czech-based producer CBDepot, bringing to four the total number of CBD applications that the company has had approved. CBDepot previously received approval for synthesized trans-cannabidiol (2020); synthesized cannabidiol with 4MP-branded secondary products in the forms of carrier oils, measured dose spray, and chewable tablets (2021); and for isolated cannabidiol and CBDex-branded secondary products in the form of carrier oils (2021).
