Idaho-based Hempitecture has opened a production facility to turn out hemp-based nonwoven material. The Sun Valley-based company said the 33,000-sq. ft. factory will make a wide range of products including sustainable liners for cold freight shippers, and HempWool, an insulation product for the construction industry. The complex is powered by hydroelectric, solar, and wind power.
