EcoGen Biosciences said it acquired Colorado-based hemp processing and extraction company General Processing LLC. EcoGen, based in Grand Junction Colorado, said it will boost production capacity and add technology for greater sustainability and to meet Good Manufacturing Practice compliance. As a part of the acquisition, the EcoGen adds a 50,000-square-foot production campus in Delta, Colorado, with an additional 165 acres of farmland. EcoGen makes hemp isolate and distillate.
