Belgian natural builder Wolf Jordan & Co. has expanded into production facilities at Greenbizz, Brussels, an incubator that backs growth of startups and small firms focused on sustainability. The Kalmthout-based company will use the space in Brussels to expand production and distribution of its range of natural building materials, said owner Wolf Jordan.

Wolf Jordan says Brussels local government is open to sustainable projects

The added facilities will serve primarily as a small factory to make additive for hemp-lime construction and for lime-based finishes, Jordan said. Greenbizz also offers its tenants office and meeting space as well as conference facilities in the specially designed 8000 m² low-energy complex.

Jordan said he’ll also explore development of an education and training center for natural building, taking advantage of the incubator’s full infrastructure, which now hosts about 25 companies.

“Participating there can open totally new doors,” Jordan said. “The local Brussels government is very open to new and ecological, sustainable projects.” Established by the Brussels local government, Greenbizz also has the support of the European Commission.
