Rhode Island-based Johnson & Wales University has started a Cannabis Entrepreneurship academic program focused on CBD. The B.S. curriculum embraces science, business, economics and entrepreneurship, aiming to give students the tools to start a company or otherwise join the industry as professionals. The program launched with the school’s autumn semester. It is led by Magnus Thorsson, an assistant professor at JWU’s Providence Campus who is an expert in sustainable hotel operations, service focused marketing and hotel management; and Michael Budziszek, an associate professor and expert in botanical sciences, plant biochemistry, global warming, genetics, biological sciences, and nutrigenomics.
