Illinois, USA-based 357 Hemp Logistics is providing its shipping customers up to $50,000 of declared value hemp cargo insurance at no cost on domestic and international hemp shipments. The company said transporting hemp can still be risky even though hemp is now federally legal, because of differing state regulations. The company said hemp shipments are sometimes impounded for weeks, with valuable loads of isolate being confiscated by law enforcement, or cargo being stolen.
