Wyoming, USA state lawmakers decided to table a bill that could have made hemp product regulations more strict. The draft bill would have banned possession and sale of hemp for smoking. It also would have forbidden CBD from being added to any alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and food products without the approval of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. When a bill is tabled, it may or may not come up for another vote. The Joint Agriculture Committee discussed introducing a new bill that would only prohibit smoking hemp in public, and require purchasers of CBD to be 21 years of age.
