Cannabis ChemLab, the first registered laboratory for testing industrial hemp in the state of South Dakota, has been approved by U.S. Department of Agriculture. Jared Nieuwenhuis, the lab’s owner, said the facility will be doing testing for THC and can provide full-spectrum analysis on THC and CBD. The company said it is operating out of East Prarie Labs in the city of Flandreau, which is also owned by Nieuwenhuis, but plans to establish independent premises. Nieuwenhuis said he also plans to provide services for the marijuana sector once cannabis becomes legal in South Dakota.
