A new cannabis law recently enacted in Connecticut includes tight restrictions on the sale of delta-8 THC, as the state joins others around the USA that are either banning the synthetic compound or putting it under the same regulations as marijuana. The state’s new law restricts sales of delta-8 THC to licensed cannabis retailers or medical marijuana dispensaries in a fashion similar to rules governing the more common delta-9 THC derived from marijuana plants. The law took effect July 1.
