Saskatoon-headquartered Blue Sky Hemp Ventures received ~CA$750,000 (~US$620,000) to upgrade its facility in Saskatchewan, where the company makes hemp oil and CBD. The grant comes from Western Economic Diversification Canada, a development agency. The program supports fast-growing small and medium enterprises in new markets.
