Companies and individual developers can compete for a €1,000 prize for industrial hemp excellence at this year’s fourth edition of Expocáñamo, the Seville-based cannabis trade fair and forum set May 11-13, 2018.
The first-ever competition is part of a much expanded presence for industrial hemp at Expocáñamo this year – reflecting organizers’ intention to more fully embrace the potential in all cannabis.
A jury of hemp experts, professionals and other stakeholders from Seville and Andalusia will determine the prize winner. The competition is limited to companies and individuals from the EU.
The deadline for applications to enter the competition is March 16.
Space for hemp-centric exhibitors on the floor at Expocáñamo this year is expanded, as is an industrial hemp forum running concurrent to the Expo that will feature sessions on food, health, textiles, construction, new products and machinery for harvesting and processing.
