Leading global hemp industry players Hempro International GmbH & Co. KG, and MH medical hemp GmbH, both of Germany, have signed on as sponsors of the inaugural Latin American & Caribbean Hemp Summit set Nov. 8-9 in Montevideo, Uruguay.
Organizers also announced the addition of three speakers to the Summit program: Juan Mato Paredes, Sustainability Director at Orinoco Hemp, Colombia; Attorney Jose G. Ojeda, Octagon Consulting Group & Cruz Verde, Inc., Puerto Rico & USA; and advertising agency veteran Dean Harris, CEO and co-founder at TabBrands, USA.
Hempro Int. GmbH & Co. KG, is a vertically-integrated hemp firm with interests in Germany, Europe and China since 2002. The company is a leading European producer and wholesaler across the entire range of hemp food (mainly bulk raw materials), textiles, accessories and cosmetics. Hempro Int. also helps private-label firms with product development and then makes the products for them under contract, and addresses the direct-to-consumer market via hanfhaus.de, its online shop that offers a wide assortment of hemp products.
MH is trailblazer
MH medical hemp GmbH, an innovation and technology trailblazer, is a maker of bulk cannabidiol rich hemp extracts, CBD oils and CBD isolate. The company also makes the Phytalize Skincare line of lip balm and a balsam and a transdermal cream – all of which incorporate CBD into the formulas. MH specializes in the extraction of CBD as well as the development, production and global marketing of hemp-based cannabinoids and products containing CBD.
