Hemp industry advocate Michael Lewis, founder of Growing Warriors, will deliver the keynote address at the inaugural Vermont Hemp Fest set Sept. 9 at Burke Mountain in Burke, Vermont (USA). Lewis’ appearance is through Vermont Hemp Company, the lead sponsor for the event.
Lewis, a U.S. military veteran, is the founder of Growing Warriors, which helps veteran families grow organic food and establish agriculture production.
Other subjects to be addressed during the event include an introduction to hemp; an industry landscape report; CBD and health and wellness; the hemp business in Vermont and beyond; and hemp for construction and composites. A Vermont hemp product showcase will also be featured.
