New Mexico Highlands University (USA) officials approved a program in industrial hemp under its Emerging Business Markets Entrepreneurship initiative. One track will be offered for students focused on the business of industrial hemp; a second track is focused on the science of plant production. Business classes will be online while science classes will be mostly in-person at the school’s main campus in Las Vegas, New Mexico. Courses will look at entrepreneurship, innovation management, project management, plant physiology, plant production and criminal justice.
