New president at U.S. building group

Jacob Waddell has replaced Bob Escher as President of the U.S. Hemp Building Association (USHBA). COO of Ology Essentials, and CEO and founder at Tennessee-based Hemp Shiv Technologies, Waddell has a background in engineering and manufacturing. He holds a masters degree in material science and engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and an MBA from Tennessee Technological University. Escher, a Vermont architect, was the founding president of the USHBA starting in 2019. He remains with the organization as a member of the board of directors.
