Pepsi launches seed-based drink in U.S.

Drinks giant PepsiCo has launched Rockstar Unplugged, a cannabinoid-free energy drink infused with hempseed extract, in the USA after rolling out a similar product last year in Germany. PepsiCo said the drink is targeted at younger women who tend not to consume as many energy drinks as men. The launch is being promoted through a three-concert series with MTV’s Unplugged franchise. A 12-ounce can of Rockstar Unplugged retails for $1.99.
