Kentucky tobacco company Turning Point Brands said it acquired 20% of Wild Hempettes, a Texas-based hemp cigarette brand, and picked up an option for 100% ownership. Turning Point makes chewing tobacco, cigarillos, rolling papers and e-liquids and vape products. Wild Hempettes LLC makes hemp cigarettes under the WildHemp and Hempettes brands in Original, Sweet and Pineapple Blaze variations. The company said it will introduce a menthol product before the end of the year.
