U.S. company Golden Piedmont Lab has opened a CBD oil extraction facility in South Boston, Virginia. The company claims the facility is “largest hemp processor east of the Mississippi River,” with the capacity to process 5,000 lbs. (2,270 kg.) of hemp biomass in 8 hours. Twenty-two jobs were created.
