The Mississippi Hemp Association launched a program in support of the state’s hemp farmers. MHA said it is providing seeds, has access to farming equipment required for field work, and will help growers find processing and distribution for end products from their crops, under a pilot program. MHA was formed last year after Mississippi legalized the growing of industrial hemp. Mississippi was 49th among U.S. states in establishing its hemp program.
